About this title

Synopsis:

Jade may be losing her mind. Or gaining a piece - she's not sure. Something she thought was dead inside her is waking up. Something she thought she'd lost years ago. Someone she thought she'd lost years ago. Lily. Each night, Jade dreams of her childhood, of a lake, of Lily, and of a strange, cloaked woman who will not show her face. Jade starts sleepwalking and losing control of her powers. Coven witches complain of abnormal magic in the Nature Preserve and Jade doesn't know if she's responsible for it or not. Her lizard familiar, Bruce, is showing signs of sickness - something that only happens to familiars when their witch is ill. Her body isn't made to hold the kind of power she has; maybe the stress of being a witch is finally catching up to her. Jade needs help. Can she trust enough to ask for it? Can she accept it when it's offered? And what will happen if she does? Continue the Covencraft story with Jade in book #3: Double-Sided Witch

About the Author:

Margarita loves the art, creativity and romanticism of storytelling. Sometimes, however, the act of putting pen to paper proves challenging. She works to develop genuine, relatable characters which grow in the hearts of her readers. From that foundation, the stories flourish into a warm friend. She enjoys pursuits which blur the lines between the analytical and creative sides of her brain. This includes her day job in electronic data management, where she uses her creativity to solve logical problems, and also her lessons learning to play the cello, where she finds beauty in the structure of music and the instrument. She believes there is a place for both logic and imagination to work together. When they do, the results are magical. The ‘label’ she identifies most with is ‘storyteller.’ According to Wikipedia, storytelling is the conveying of events in words, and images, often by improvisation or embellishment. It seems to fit pretty well with how she feels about her work. At www.margaritagakis.com, you can sign up for her newsletter to get updates on her current work and upcoming releases.
