152 pages including index. With a large fold out map in the rear and photos throughout. A history of the various farms and homes of the Dover, Massachusetts, arranged by name of the owner of the farm and including notable construction and architectural features of original structures, what the farms produced or what roles their owners played in the community, etc. Smith also provides, interspersed throughout, a history of the community and roads. The fold out map contains the location of abandoned farms and industries in the Dover area. In GOOD+ condition. Minor soiling, uneven fading and some scuffing to the covers and extremities. A whitish paint speckles present. Corners rounded, with the spine pulled at the head and foot. Some mottling to the cloth along the spine. Interior solid, with an owner's inscription on the first endpaper and minor scattered foxing throughout. Bookseller Inventory # 004317
