1960 Hemet News (Hemet, California), oversize 10 3/4 x 15 3/4 inches tall stapled paperbound in tan covers illustrated in red, copiously illustrated with black-and-white photographs and drawings, 98 pp. Very slight edgewear to covers. Prior owner address label to top margin of title page. Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this rare town history. OCLC (No. 21621394) locates only three copies worldwide. Note that this is a heavy and oversized book, so additional postage will be required for international or priority orders. ~SP32~ [2.0P] A local history assembled by the Hemet News in honor of the town of Hemet's 50th anniversary of incorporation in 1960. Hemet is a city in the San Jacinto Valley in Riverside County, California. It covers a total area of 27.8 square miles, about half of the valley, which it shares with the neighboring city of San Jacinto.
