Title: The Drake: Breakfast.
Publisher: Marshall Field & Co. n.y., Chicago
4to (7¼" X 11"). Buff wrappers. (4pp). Pictorial front wrapper. Very good. Mild edgewear and age toning; outer margin likely slightly trimmed. Attractive copy of this undated menu (with pencilled "May 4 -- 1924" at upper left corner of front wrapper dating it). Front wrapper, printed entirely in brown ink, features elaborate border and large three-quarters aerial line drawing of this famed, still-standing Chicago hotel (captioned "Lake Shore Drive and Upper Michigan Avenue / Chicago"), while rear wrapper features simpler border and smaller line drawing of another landmark hotel (captioned "The Blackstone / South Michigan Boulevard"). Inner pages (2 and 3) feature simple brown border and text in black detailing their extensive breakfast offerings. The Drake was built in 1920, so was a mere toddler of a hotel at this time.
