Green endpapers, the free front endpaper has been replaced with a closely matching stiff paper. Presentation copy from Mrs. Louisa Spurs Eastman (Sandwich, Mass.) to Charles H.S. Poole, August 25, 1870. First edition, 1858 with title page date matching CR date. Book label of Geo. W. Alexander, Binder, New York on rear endpapers. Minor foxing to pages. Texas, Rio Grande & the Comanches.
