Back cover introduces author as an ".outspoken polygamist and social revolutionary." His intent is to re-discover the society of Egypt, and re-trace religion, philosophy and politics through middle eastern history, ending with the Mormons. That's my summation. See photo of rear cover. Condition: front cover and spine are faded, some stray marks, light, on front cover. corners are lightly rubbed. Interior is clean and lightly read. Biographical notes from Wikipedia: Alex Joseph (1936 - September 27, 1998) (born Alec Richard Joseph; also referred to as Ronald Ellison), was an outspoken polygamist and founder of the Confederate Nations of Israel, a Mormon fundamentalist sect.
