Publisher's cloth bindings with original dust jackets. Nice lot of six scholarly late 20th century oversized well illustrated reference books relating to Dutch & German art, culture, history & artists in the Netherlands' Golden Age. Five are cloth with dj's, one paperback. All books are large heavy coffee table book format with a profusion of nice illustrations (often color) and expert commentary, all issued by museums or high end specialty publishers. New York. 431 pp. Nice lot of six (6) late 20th century reference books relating to Golden Age Dutch art, culture, society & artists. Titles included in this lot are all visible in pics, each work is a key or useful reference work worthy of owning if you have an interest in this subject either as a collector, scholar or dealer. Lot is used and shows some mostly minor light trivial signs of handling and time. Lot is not new or in "new" condition. Bindings only very gently age worn, minor signs of handling but nothing offensive or severe, each book in the lot remains overall clean, well preserved and attractive. All are nice examples with just minor light signs of time and handling. Attractive on the shelf. Lot displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive. Lot is only offered/ sold as seen, we will not break the lot or sell individual books from it. Please review photos for more detail showing how this lot survives. The asking price reflects the condition based on our examination and 35+ years full time exposure to antiquarian books and ephemera of all types. Flaws seen and described have been taken into account. Books Measure c. 12" H x 10" W. A very heavy lot of books. Best shipping cost by multiples is slow Media rate.
