Half-leather, marble sides, worn, front cover detached with endpapers, foxing, age-toning, offset from engravings .Frontispiece foxed, occasional light foxing to some plates. Dr. John Cosens was born at Southampton, attended Trinity College Cambridge and was Vicar of St. Martin's, West Drayton (1760-65).
