SIGNED ON THE TITLE PAGE BY BOTH AUTHORS beneath their respective names. 8vo. vi, 1-26p. Frontispiece blue and white photo of Elizabeth P. Simpson plus 7 blue and white captioned photos. Stapled booklet in white wrappers printed in blue and with a vignette in blue on the front panel of Sara Reynolds Hall and with a color photo on the rear panel of Elizabeth Simpson and Charles Lembke with the President and Mrs. May at the University of New Mexico Centennial Ball, February 25, 1989. Laid in are two news clippings, one the obiturary of Elizabeth P. Simpson [who lived to be 103!], the other an article on Betty Huning Hinton. Also laid in is the sevice leaflet from the funeral of Elizabeth P. Simpson. Fine with clean covers, square and flat corners, no rust on the staples and no internal markings. Based on personal interviews by Betty Huning Hinton, this is the biography of Elizabeth Parkinson Simpson who was Chairperson of the Home Economics Department at the University of New Mexico from 1918-1952. Sara Reynolds Hall was built specifically for Mrs. Simpson's Home Economics Department. Betty Huning Hinton taught history in the Albuquerque Public Schools for more than 25 years.
