12 mo in full,leather binding tooled about the edges in gilt, spine decorated and lined in gilt with design of bird and urn in the compartments; black spine label lettered in gilt. Marbled endpapers. (2) xv + 348 pp. (The Psalms) and 152 pp. (The Catechism) (2). Contemporary ownership signatures and inscriptions first and second blanks and again on the final two blanks. Wear about the edges of the binding, boards a bit bowed, some separation along the rear gutter but still holding firmly. Text is foxed throughout. First front blank partially detached. Withal, a nice example of an 18th century American binding. Bookseller Inventory # E7801
