Stokes Company, New York, 1926.Winner of the 1927 Pulitzer Prize for Novel (Fiction). 12mo [5" x 7 3/8"], 307 pp. The book is in good minus condition. Wear to the boards with cloth loss at the front joint, exposing the webbing underneath. Sunning and fraying to the spine, with the cloth lifting at the top of the front joint. Sticker on the front endpaper. The front board is cracked at the hinge. The rear board is starting. Small area of discoloration on the bottom fore-edge of the textblock with spotting at the top fore-edge. The textblock is lightly toned but largely clean and bright.
