CHAMBERS, THEODORE FRELINGHUYSEN. The Early Germans of New Jersey. Their History, Churches and Genealogies. [N.p., 1895]. 4to. xiii, [2], 667 p. Plates, folding map. Rebound in modern cloth. Library deaccession stamp on title page, one leaf coming loose, occasional pencil marginalia. A very nice copy. One of the classic New Jersey genealogical resources. Part II, comprising well over half the book, contains "Genealogies of the Early Germans of Hunterdon, Morris, Sussex and Warren Counties." The book is quite scarce and notoriously fragile, largely because of the brittle endpapers. This copy is nicely rebound, with modern endpapers. Bookseller Inventory # 13767
