R, Crown Max the investigation is limited to the effect of sub-sonic frequencies and range of amplitudes; but in the experiments conducted an Nimonic C. 75, both sub-sonic and sonic ranges of frequency were investigated. It can be concluded that certain frequencies notabiy improve the quality and properties of castings. This effect is attributed to the formation of more uniform and smaller crystals during this process, and to an increase in density."
