A look at the life and work of New York silversmith Elias Pelletreau, examining his particular methods and techniques of silversmithing. Also included is a list of recorded works by Pelletreau, a documentation of his apprenticeship, as well as chapters on the trade in general, studying the workshop, tools, etc. GOOD condition, ex-museum library. Pocket, pastedown, and minor stamping in the interior. Label present at the foot of the jacket spine and book spine. Some scuffing, minor fading and soiling to the jacket.
