Pamphlet. 8 pp. This first issue of this 'little' magazine, featuring the story 'Les Amies' by Dorothy Weiner, as well as work by Clark Mills, Josephine Johnson and others. Edited by Mills, with Dorothy Weiner on the student staff. Perhaps an association copy, with Clark Mills' name and address typed at the upper front cover, with a handwritten 'exchange?' above that. Clark Mills (McBurney) was a poet perhaps best known for his friendship and association with Tennessee Williams, which began in 1933 and continued through their attendance of Washington University and beyond. Mills is cited by Williams as turning him on to poets such as Hart Crane, Rimbaud and others (see Tennessee Williams: Notebooks, edited by Margaret Thornton, p. 26). GOOD condition. Moderate offsetting and browning to the outer pages, mostly along the extremities, with some foxing to the same locale. Minor general browning and soiling to the exterior. Small crease to the lower corner. Seller Inventory # 006858
