Most of the original gilt decorated spine rebacked onto new red leather. Front and rear hinges repaired. Boards are shelf worn with some dark spotting. Light soiling and scattered brown spots to contents. Inscriptions range in date from 1850 to 1864. Locations signed at the bottom of inscriptions include Georgetown, Newbury, Ipswich, Andover, and Byfield. The right front flyleaf has a nice drawn decoration with the initials E. A.
