Original blue cloth with gilt lettering on front cover and spine. 5 1/2 X 8 1/4 inches. 323 pages. 1st American edition. Lagerlog (1858-1940) was a Swedish author who was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize in literature. Several pages have a light dampstain on the edge, also some pages have foxing. Copy has tan dust jacket with black lettering on front cover and spine. Dust jacket has slight chipping on top edge and a rubbed spot on the back cover. Dust jacket is in mylar.
