About this Item

First edition, first impression. Some slight edge wear to top and bottom of jacket and spine, corners rubbed and bumped, spine very slightly sunned, but overall bright red jacket still very fresh. Not price clipped (18s), no inscriptions, internally clean tight and square, overall a vg++ copy for its age. 231pp. Camille Auguste Marie Caseleyr (1909-80), was a Belgian who, after World War Two, emigrated to Australia, where he set his his first sf novel 'The End of it All'. The tale depicts a nuclear World War Three and climaxes in doomed Australian attempts to cope with epidemics unleashed by the opposing forces. In the end extinction is total. An extremely scarce book. Bookseller Inventory # 002946
