An Enquiry into the Nature and Place of Hell
Cambridge binding, speckled calf, decorative border blindstamped on boards, gilt-stamped lettering in red leather spine label; pp. (dedicatory, preface), 292 (somewhat spooky ruminations on Hell's fires and where to find them); with one folding plate, orbital map to Tartarus (Hell), bound in upside-down. Boards rubbed, shallow gouge on upper board; bottom corners bumped; light chipping and scuffing at spine tips and along joints. Manuscript notations on title-page, in ink. Again, spooky. Also scarce.
