Vanderbilt" in blue fountain pen at the top of the second front endpaper. Vanderbilt's first-hand account of the famous 1930 America's Cup defender and her victory over "Shamrock V." With numerous full-page photographs and several folding charts and maps. A superb, definitive analysis. A very handsome copy in woven navy blue cloth stamped brightly in gold on the front boards and spine. The gilt background and white sails of "Enterprise" are crisp and bright on the center of the front boards. Some light rubbing to the extremities. Gilt lightly dulled on the spine which has two tiny white spots. Very clean and crisp throughout, an attractive, collectible copy.
