Contemporary half calf and marbled boards, rebacked, a little foxing of the plates of the second title, a very good copy. *GARRISON-MORTON #484 for the monograph on the rabbit - '. important original work on the development of the rabbit.' It was dedicated to Karl Ernst von Baer, whose fundamental work on the discovery of the mammalian ovum was published in 1827.
