About this title

Synopsis:

In this biography David Bret presents a portrait of this complex man, providing insight into his reckless descent into alcohol and drugs which ultimately led to his untimely death. Satan's Angel may not be for the faint-hearted, but it reveals Errol Flynn as he really was - a loveable rebel, pervert, lecher, charmer and drunkard, but most essentially a legend without equal and one of the undisputed icons of the 20th century.

From the Publisher:

Long regarded as Hollywood’s prodigal son, Errol Flynn packed more into his fifty years than most of his high–living contemporaries could have done in several lifetimes. The quintessential hedonist and an insatiable womanizer, Flynn was infamous for his drinking binges and high–spirited bacchanalia. Here, David Bret traces the extraordinary life, loves, and career of the cinema’s first action–adventure star. With the spectacular looks and athletic prowess that first attracted the attention of Warner Brothers, Flynn reveled in the public acclaim for his performances in Captain Blood, The Adventures of Robin Hood, and The Adventures of Don Juan. But his on–screen panache did little to hide his scandalous personal life. In a series of compelling revelations, Bret divulges the star’s staggering appetite for young men and underage girls, his brawling, drinking and drug experimentation, and his controversial political leanings. An often startling portrait of an incorrigibly complex man and one of the undisputed icons of the 20th century.

Terms of Sale:

Private merchant account, no taxes on sales and a standard shipping fee in accordance to rates.

Shipping Terms:

U.S. Shipping:
We ship our books according to media rate through the US Postal Services. This is the cheapest way for us to ship you your books. We will contact you if shipping will cost more than the listed price. Please note that heavier and larger-sized books will cost more to ship as the general shipping cost is used for average-weight/sized books. If you would like your book insured, specifically packed or delivered faster it will cost more and you will need to contact us.

All our packages are wrapped in foam, bubble wrap, peanuts or a combination thereof.

International Shipping:
As a standard for shipping, we ship all our books in a Global Priority Flat Rate mailer envelope. This costs just a couple bucks more than ground and will get there in 4 to 10 business days instead of the one to two months it would for Ground. Priority in a box costs a bit more (about 17.50,) but has that added bit of protection. We're more than happy to ship Ground for $9.00 or Express for $30.00. Let us know what you prefer if the option isn't listed.

All our packages are wrapped in foam, bubble wrap, peanuts or a combination thereof.
