Synopsis: This is the continuation of the Legend that tells how the horse became partner to humankind. Book Two begins immediately following the birth of Christ and continues during the first decade of His life. As the story opens, Michael, the young horseman readers came to know and love in Book One, is searching for his father, traveling with the three Wise Men who attended the birth of Christ. Not far into that journey, an angel visits Michael and tells him that he has been chosen to escort the Holy Family out of harm's way. "You must take Mary and Joseph and Jesus to Egypt," the angel says. "You will remain as their protector until it is safe for them to return to their homeland." Michael obeys and lives for the next decade with this Family . . . three individuals who remain, to this day, at the heart of the world's foremost mystery.
Have you ever wondered what Jesus might have been like as a boy? Did He romp and play with other children? Did He cry when He got hurt and laugh when His father playfully tossed Him in the air? Did He know, even as a youngster, the special mission that was His and His alone?
In the continuation of this Legend that has been handed down from generation to generation, you'll meet the Boy, Jesus, and the extraordinary stallion, Zabbai. You'll learn that with Jesus and Zabbai, the first true partnership of horse and human was born.
Jesus and Zabbai shared the first years of their lives together in perfect love and understanding. And thus, say the keepers of the Legend, a new affinity between horse and human had its genesis.
Join us now, won't you, as we embark upon another adventure with that all might hope.
