Clean hardcover book (later printing of the first edition) in clean unclipped dust jacket. Blue buckram cloth boards with black lettering on cover and spine. No bumping or fraying. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound. Pages are clean with clean, unmarked endpapers. 428 pages. Clean bright jacket is not price clipped, has shallow chipping at spine ends, a few short closed edge tears; enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. In 1936, a young man arrives in Hitler's Germany, frantically seeking information about his missing German mother, and finds she is pending execution at a concentration camp.
