50 pages; red cloth boards with gilt spine and front titles; signed by author in blue ink to front free endpaper ("Sam Samson Dec 1 1951"); yellow dust jacket with black titles and red decorations; minimal wear to boards, with slight softening to head and tail of spine; very slightly cocked; pasted to front pastedown is a short (2 1/2") newspaper article about gold mining in Nome; some rubbing and tattering to extremities of jacket, with significant chipping to head and tail of spine, blemishes and soiling scattered over panels; a very good to very good plus copy in a good plus jacket; solid, bright example of this tale of the Alaska gold rush of 1900, from the man who unearthed a vein worth $20,000,000.
