With a loose sheet inside - "With The Author's Compliments". This book belonged to R. W. Sellars (Roy Wood Sellars) who has inked his name onto the top of the frontpaper. Prof. Sellars was the author of "Critical Realism" - 1916; "The Essentials of Philosophy" - 1917; "Evolutionary Naturalism"; "The Philosophy of Physical Realism" - 1932; and other works in philosophy. Prof. Sellars has ink underlined the 26 page Preface, and has left notes in the margins. 304 clean, crisp and tightly bound pages, with some pages towards the back unopened. Bound in black cloth with still bright gilt lettering on the spine. There are 2 small frays to the top of the spine, else the covers have good, unworn edges. Bookseller Inventory # 12474
