Vellum-backed boards, with matching slip-case; endpapers slightly browned, some off-setting from titles and frontispieces, otherwise a very nice uncut copy from the library of Louise Ward Watkins with her bookplates. Limited edition; one of only 400 copies printed for members of the Bibliophile Society. This collection contains Letters of a citizen of the world; On quack doctors; A reverie at the Boar's Head tavern in Eastcheap as well as numerous other essays and letters written by Goldsmith.
