Quarter leather with gray-brown heather-like buckram boards, with crisp gilt-stamped lettering to the front board. The spine-strip leather is completely absent, exposing part of the text block, whilst the leather on the boards is intact though much rubbed. Hinges somewhat tender but holding nicely. The corners are bumped. T.E.G. xxiii numbered pages, plus numerous unnumbered pages containing 223 numbered plates of etchings with notes, except that as to etching No. 3 it is stated that np illustration can be given. Apart from age-toning to the pages, the book interior is very clean. No DJ, as issued. A Good Minus copy.
