Campbell & Buccleuch is a subsidiary of Sholto Campbell Books (which specialises in Latin and Greek and the Ancient World). Campbell & Buccleuch is a larger and more general bookstore, with our main sections on Africana, Arabic and Semitic languages, European languages (French, Italian, some German), English novels and poetry, English letters and diaries, History, Biography, Cookery, Travel and Exploration. All our books are second-hand, and are in good, very good or as-new condition. All of our books are checked before being entered on Abebooks and we discard any books that are damaged, not clean, or have markings to the text. With very rare exceptions, we do not sell books that have previously come from a public library. We photograph all of our books before entering them and show details of any defects. We charge postage at the rates provided by Royal Mail, and our online pricing takes this extra postal charge into account.

Campbell & Buccleuch sells books through Abebooks in accordance with their terms of service. We accept orders and payment for the books listed only through Abebooks. We are happy to answer enquiries about any of our books and to provide further photographs and information; such requests should be made through Abebooks.
We accept cancellation of an order in accordance with Abebooks terms and conditions.
Shipping Terms:
We charge the following flat rates for any number of books up to the specified weight in any one single order:
UK £3 up to 5kg
Europe £9.50 up to 2 kg
Rest of the World £11.50 up to 2kg
If a customer is ordering a single book and the weight is under 500 grams, we shall reduce the shipping accordingly.
We reserve the right to ask for an excess postal charge for shipments exceeding the weight of 5kg (UK) and 2kg (non-UK).
All our packaging is environmentally friendly and recyclable, without plastic.
