About this title

Synopsis:

Timeless myths invite--perhaps demand--revision. The poignant, violent story of Eurydice and Orpheus has seen many variations over the centuries, yet they all tend to be told from Orpheus' point of view. It is time Eurydice had her say, and Poet William Borden gives her a voice in this extraordinary book-length poem, hauntingly illustrated by Douglas Kinsey

About the Author:

William Borden is a poet, novelist, playwright, and essayist. His poems have appeared in over ninety magazines and anthologies and in a chapbook, Slow Step and Dance. His novel, Superstoe, was recently published by Orloff Press. His plays have won twenty national playwriting competitions and have had over 180 productions. He now lives on a lake in northern Minnesota with his wife of forty years.

Douglas Kinsey is a painter and printmaker. He has exhibeted widely in the U.S. as well as abroad. His fifty solo exhibitions include ones in New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., London, and Osaka. The monotype, a kind of printed painting, has become his printmaking specialty.
