Proceedings of the California Academy of Sciences, Fourth Series, volume 1, January 20, 1911. This is the first comprehensive flora (including lichens) of the Galapagos Islands that lay 1000km off the coast of Ecuador and of the flora of Cocos Island, off the coast of Costa Rica. All three parts are authored by Alban Stewart, botanist of the 1905-1906 expedition. No ownership marks. Small indentation (1/4 inch long) near the margin of pages 255-262 (likely caused during the printing process); otherwise, a bright and clean copy in fine condition. Seller Inventory # 6240
