4°, disbound. In good to very good condition. 30 pp. *** FIRST and ONLY EDITION of this liberal pamphlet upholding the legitimacy of D. Maria II and repeatedly denouncing D. Miguel as a usurper. The work is divided into 3 parts. In the first part, the author demonstrates that the way religion was taught during past years under D. Miguel brought about its own destruction. In the second part he demonstrates the ill effects such teachings had on society.
