About this Item
A delightful, scarce picture book about the circus which is visited by Peter Funnybone, a farm boy. It was both written and illustrated by Denslow who was the illustrator for L Frank Baum's "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz", "Father Goose, His Book" and "The Father Goose Songbook", as well as other illustrations of Oz characters though he was the artist for the only the first Oz book. The front edges of the covers and pages have moisture stains and the cover is a little worn at the edges. Still a decent copy of this rare item. OUT OF PRINT. Seller Inventory # 11530
