About this Item

Leman, Bob (1922-2006): FEESTERS IN THE LAKE and Other Stories. Seattle: Midnight House, 2002. First Edition, limited to 450 numbered copies. Fine hardcover in Fine dustwrapper. Frontis portrait of Leman by Allen Kozowski. Bob Leman was a member of First Fandom, but did not start publishing his horror stories until he was 45, becoming most associated with The Magazine and Fantasy and Science Fiction. His tale "Window" was a Nebula Award finalist, and it became an episode of Twilight Zone-like anthology series Night Visions (2001) starring Bill Pullman. The Midnight House edition collects all his horror yarns, including the previously unpublished "How Dobbstown Was Saved" that sat decades in Harlan Ellison's notoriously undelivered anthology The Last Dangerous Visions.
