12 mo, xxxii plus 558 pp. Sage green cloth with gilt art nouveau iris design and title on front cover. This is "New Edition, Revised and Enlarged" published July, 1927. Binding square and firm, all edges darkened from age. covers moderately worn, no specific damage. light dampstain front top edge, begins as 1/2 inch deep, from 2nd fep up through page 8, and disappears to nothing. Pages xv-xvi, and pages 87-90, 92-94, have 1/4" square dark stain where page meets spine, top and bottom. This appears to be from tape, but there is no tape, and no clear reason for it. Frontis tissue intact, all plates present, none loose. NO internal markings, no names. Bookseller's notation and price in pencil inside back pastedown. date: 6/23/28 in light brown ink at bottom inner corner. Bookseller Inventory # 1215001
