Very early appearance by author Thornton W. Burgess - 5 page story entitled FIRE. Not the usual Burgess fare, but an article/story on fire safety and extinguishers. Covers missing, and magazine starts on page 3. Small edge tear. First few pages and table of contents missing. His first published book was 1906, and first appearances in magazine, 1905. Good.
