The autobiography of Khleber Miller Van Zandt, soldier, legislator, merchant, banker, community builder. who was born in Washington D.C. on November 7, 1836 and died in March 1930. He moved to Fort Worth, Texas in 1865 and was a builder of the community, obtained the first post office, started the first newspaper and the first bank. Handsome copy, very tightly bound and perhaps unread, no names or other markings, clean pages and sharp corners. The DJ is likewise fine, unworn, bright, clean, with slight dampstain near the top of the rear cover near the spine as its only flaw. Now protected by a mylar sleeve. Bookseller Inventory # 003300
