Original program and advertising herald for Lang's final silent film, starring Klaus Pohl, Willy Fritsch, and Gerda Maurus. Based on the novel by Lang's wife, Thea Von Harbou, Frau Im Mond is considered one of the first serious science fiction films. The groundbreaking film presented the basics of rocket travel to a mass-audience for the first time, and marks the first occurrence of the "countdown to zero" prior to a rocket launch. The program is richly illustrated with photographic stills from the film, with a cast of characters and synopsis printed throughout. Neither the program or herald are individually listed in OCLC, though 8 U.S. institutions hold issues of Illustrierter Film-Kurier. Bookseller Inventory # 2406
