About this Item

Hardcover in VG condition (slight handling, slight endpaper yellowing, slight corner tip wear). The blue and white cloth cover is decorated with gilt lettering, and a small gilt train decoration on the spine. The text is unmarked, with a vintage bookplate inside the front cover, with the same person's name ("Moses H. Sherman") also in small gilt letters on the cover. The gist of this book seems to be that railway economics should NOT be regulated, and railways should be allowed to charge whatever they desire. There are numerous photographs of railway executives. [14oz]. Bookseller Inventory # 38005

Store Description

I operated a used bookstore in Davis, California, from 1985-1992 (Berry's Books), then moved to Mendocino, and have been selling used books on the internet since 1998. Middletown CA is my new home, and the air here is ideal for book preservation (low humidity). I am a jack of all trades, master of none, which lends itself well to the book trade. I currently have 19,000 books online in 160 different subject categories. The inventory is regularly updated online, so if you see it listed, there is a 99+% chance that I can mail it by the next business day.
