A Good+ copy of the biography of Henry W. Frost, a pivotal figure in the China Inland Mission (later the Overseas Missionary Fellowship.) An unusual copy, in that it is signed and inscribed by both F. Howard Taylor (son of the founder of the Mission, Hudson Taylor,) and his wife Geraldine. 364pp. The pages are clean, with some age spotting, and the binding is sound. The cover is clean and bright, but the spine does show spotting. The second front endpaper is inscribed "Mrs. A. G. Wells with love in our Lord from Geraldine (signed in ballpoint pen) and F. Howard Taylor (signed in fountain pen, and in the same hand as the inscription,) March 31, 1939. Frost was the North American Director for the China Inland Mission, and died in 1945. Taylor, who died was a trained doctor as well as a missionary, and his wife Geraldine was the daughter of noted preacher and evangelist Henry Grattan Guiness and a noted missionary and author in her own right.
