Synopsis: Walt McDonald is one of America's great poets. His words bless, console, and delight. His insights astonish because he is not only an accomplished poet, but a communicator of extraordinary Christian conviction. In facing the joys and sorrows of life, he never fails to convey pathos, hope and joy. His works, no matter the particular subject at hand, demonstrate a deep hunger to know God and the ever-present evidence of grace in his life. In Walt McDonald one finds the consummate verbal artist, the finest poet ever to have come out of the American Restoration Movement. McDonald is well known in the secular world as one of the finest poets of the land. It is high time that Christians discover this gem of a poet in their midst."" Darryl Tippens Provost, Pepperdine University Co-editor, Shadow & Light: Literature and the Life of Faith.
