"Box 364, Temple, Texas June 28, 1938 Dr. Philip Graham University Station Austin, Texas Dear Dr. Graham, Last summer I think I left with you a pamphlet containing the songs for a historical drama called “The Fall of the Alamo,” Since that time I have come across the drama itself. Knowing your interest in early Texas poetry (1879 seems to be considered early these days), I take the liberty of sending you a copy. I picked up four, or five copies at ten cents each; so please accept this one with my compliments. I have no idea whether it will be of any interest to you at all. I have not been able to find out anything about the author or to find anyone who ever heard of him. Sincerely yours, Myra Black.". Bookseller Inventory # ABE-148419174
