About this title

Synopsis:

When Detective Charlie Peace attains the rank of inspector he decides to relocate his family to the sleepy town of Slepton Edge. Soon after arriving, Charlie and his wife Felicity encounter a group of children chanting outside a home, but the residents, a retired elderly couple who have recently moved in, cannot explain the children's actions. Strangely, the children seem well organised and some of their chants are lines from Shakespeare's The Tempest. When a mysterious death disturbs the community, the network of neighbourhood gossip emerges as both Charlie's greatest ally and the biggest obstacle in his path to the truth.
