About this Item

This year, 2015, marks the 40th anniversary of the fall of Saigon, and the recollections, almost all of them written with some degree of pain from one viewpoint or another, have already started. The late David Butler's account is in my view simply the best book anywhere on the subject, and its aftermath, written by a journalist who lived it. An unusually attractive copy of this gripping day by day account of the fall of Saigon in 1975 and the aftermath. Butler was there and he has a great eye. Most copies of this compelling story are tattered and dog-eared; this is in F/F condition, with only normal signs of age. Binding is clean and tight, DJ is unchipped, unclipped, and entirely whole. No marks. Bookseller Inventory # 031226
