Two Volume Set. Volume I: 472pp. Volume II: 440pp. Both volumes have been professionally rebound in new leather and marbled boards (appropriated aged and gold tooled) that exactly replicates the original bindings. The matching hardcover bindings are clean, tight, and square. The interiors are clean: no writing, no bookplates, etc. The text is clean and unmarked with light scattered foxing and a few stains. Pages still subtle. Volume II is missing it's title page and page 91-92 has been torn out; all else is complete. Both volumes illustrated with several hundred engravings, many full-page on a variety of subjects. A very clean, nice matching set of this early American periodical. This set is over-sized and quite heavy, so it will require additional shipping charges on all international orders. Bookseller Inventory #
