About this title

Whispers of Autumn. Love, and Reflection is a collection of poems written as inspired by nature, personal relationships, and reflective thought. It is hoped that when read, the readers will be taken to a time or place realative to a memory they have that is brought to them by the particular poem. Any measure of success on the writer's part will be measured not only in any joy on the reader's part at having any such memory reawakened, but also by the smiles it brings. The poems were written not only to express the writer's emotion about a subject, but also as a reminder to the reader of the incredible beauty that surrounds us every day.

About the Author:

Anne Marie Ryan worked in the Human Resource Development field at a major Big 10 University for many years and worked with at-risk youth for a decade. She is currently the Business Manager of a therapeutic riding facility in Northern Michigan and is still providing programming for at-risk youth. Anne is a midwestern second generation farm owner, a mother and a grandmother. She was raised with strong family values, hard work, and faith. She and her family were plagued with one tragic event after another. The prevailing question was, "How can you survive something like this? " Never intending to be an author, she was asked to write about these events and their outcome. This is that story.
