Title: A Farewell To Arms
Publisher: Charles Scribners Sons, New York
Publication Date: 1929
Book Condition: Very Good
Dust Jacket Condition: No Jacket

First Edition, Second Printing. Scribner seal is present (with no A), and legal disclaimer on page (x) is present. Black cloth with gold paper labels. The boards show mild shelfwear with mild wear to the edges and extremities. These are within expectations for a book of this age. The gilt label on the front board also shows mild shelfwear, although still bright and legible. The label on the spine shows heavy wear, effecting legibility. The front hinge is cracked and a bit loose. There is a gift inscription in german on the inner board dated 1929 (attractive penmanship from the period). A previous stamp from the period is on the free end page "4T 1.84" in blue at a slight angle (assumed to be a price stamp). There is a previous fold to the rear free end page. There is no lean, this copy being soundly square. Bookseller Inventory # 001088
