Included with each full page black-and-white picture of an animal (or animals) is a verse. Not only is the coloring book unmarked by any crayon marks, but it comes with its page of color stamps in tact, made to challenge the young colorists to match a sticker to the right page, and perhaps to guide the youngster in selecting crayon colors.The unpaginated book has a page each for chinchilla, Shetland pony, Collie dog, silver fox, blue mink, gander, drake and duck, turkey gobbler, rock doves, rabbits, bantam rooster and hen, hen and chicks, rooster, Longhorn steer, guinea pigs, cat and kitten, sow and pig, goat and kid, ewe and lamb, burro, colt and horse, cow and calf, Palomino pony, mule, baby beef, and the back cover's boy riding a horse.
