Synopsis: Fatal Flashback is a fascinating fictional account of a law case that the Skip Crist, the author, handled in the late 70's. The true story involved his wife, her housekeeper, the housekeeper's young son and his teacher. In the novel, the housekeepr is jailed 300 miles from home and charged with first degree murder of a fifth grade teacher. The woman suffers from amnesia, and has no recollection of any of the events of which she is accused. Skip Massey, the protagonist attorney in the novel, conducts an exhaustive investigation and prepares the defense of his life. "You won't believe the ending," says the author.
About the Author: Frank "Skip" Crist, the author, was a high profile litigation attorney for 33 years. He graduated from Stanford Law School where he co-published a article for the Stanford Law Review on the California Juvenile Court System which was widely acclaimed by the State Legislature which thereafter restructured the California Juvenile Court Laws.
During his career, he tried many fascinating cases, but the facts that were developed in his case against a school district in the late 1970's gave him the opportunity to write his first novel based on a very unusual set of circumstances.
