Red cloth hardcover binding, 8vo. 199 pages. Edition limited to 2000 copies, this is number 1151. With typed one-page signed letter from Jackson to Charles F. Hartman [sic], of the American Book Collector, with a reference to John Peter Zenger and acknowledgement of an error in the text. Signed, presentation copy from the author to Heartman on the limitation page . Folded letter is lightly sunned and browned at the edges. Foxing to endpapers, as well as several pages within the text. Some wear to binding edges, top edge gilt has a one-inch stain. Gilt lettering on spine; lacking dust jacket. Slight slant to binding, otherwise a clean, tight copy. Bookseller Inventory # 9822
